Why do we love flowers?
Their fragrance exudes sweetness.
Their petals epitomize vulnerability.
A combination so delicate and refined we are spellbound by their beauty, intoxicated by their scent.
Sweetness and vulnerability are the qualities of the flower that draw us in, closer and closer, to sense, to feel, to vanish for a moment into this natural world of innocent splendor.
And what does the flower do to achieve these qualities?
Obviously nothing except to simply be itself.
Effortless being.
And where is the sweetness and vulnerability in you? In others? If the flower makes no effort to convey these qualities, what must you, I, we, do to achieve the same?
Meditate on the flower. Its delicate perfume and fragile form. Effortlessly sweet and vulnerable. Perfect in all ways.
Just like you. Just like us.
Just like all one of us.
Beautiful inspiration! Never thought of flowers this way. Thank you!
Your welcome! My wife’s aura inspired this post. And thank you for your thoughtful comment.
Wow! That sounds magical. I am not sure i understand it though – but it feels beautiful. 💕
Aura: the distinctive atmosphere or quality that seems to surround and be generated by a person, thing, or place. Or, the essence of my wife’s centerless center. Thanks again for your thoughts.

Thank you, this is a sweet meditation to start my day. Resting in the effortless sweetness of the flower 🌺

And thank you from someone in full bloom.
Just as the flowering of our self, always, already, effortlessly present.
